Reviews and Ratings
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms were in a separate building, simple, very comfortable, and sparkling clean. I loved the option for outside rooms to have my dog with me when I needed to. However, I found the rooms a bit outdated with insufficient water pressure for a decent shower or toilet flush.
The hotel rooms were huge, boasting a very comfortable bed and a large bathroom in the annex, providing a private and family-friendly stay with direct outdoor access. The service was excellent, with busy but extremely pleasant and helpful staff who maintained a balance between being welcoming and respecting privacy. The location was superb, making our weekend delightful with exceptional dining experiences, beautiful surroundings, and convenient access to the Suffolk coast. The dining was superb, offering a lovely and excellent full English breakfast. Overall, a fantastic stay but with minor dining limitations, offering great value for money.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were fantastic with 2 single beds and a double, styled with rustic furniture that suited the ambiance. They were roomy, but poorly decorated with a stained carpet and a bathroom in an 'old-style' that needs upgrading. The internal interconnecting doors on both sides of the room were a bit inconvenient.
